Pentera President & CEO Claudine A. Donikian, JD, MBA, has been unanimously elected to the board of directors of the Partnership for Philanthropic Planning (PPP). PPP includes 108 local councils and more than 10,000 individual and council members, plus charities, associations, and business organizations.
Ms. Donikian’s three-year term begins in 2015. She was elected by the assembly of delegates at the 2014 Council Summit of the PPP June 11-13. As a board member of PPP, she will serve on committees and task forces, make presentations to member councils, serve as a board liaison to at least six member councils, and participate in the annual leadership assembly.
“I deeply appreciate being selected by my colleagues, and I am excited about serving on the board of directors,” Ms. Donikian said. “The Partnership for Philanthropic Planning is an important national organization, and its mission—charitable giving made most meaningful—is a cause to which I have devoted my career. This is also an exciting time of change and dynamism for PPP, and I’m really looking forward to being a part of it.”
In June, Ms. Donikian is also starting her second term on the board of PPGGNY (Philanthropic Planning Group of Greater New York), where she serves as the co-chair for the marketing & communications committee, and she is actively involved in PGGNE (Planned Giving Group of New England). Ms. Donikian also serves as a member of the Advisory Council for the prestigious Women's Philanthropy Institute at the Indiana University Lilly Family School of Philanthropy, as well as on several other boards and committees in the Boston area. As president, chief executive officer, and chief marketing officer of Pentera, Inc., she is a sought-after speaker on planned giving marketing and consults with a select group of Pentera clients on planned giving marketing.
